Ehsan Hamzehpoor
Ehsan Hamzehpoor
Dr. Hamzehpoor joined the Université de Montréal (UdeM) as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in May 2025 and founded the Laboratoire des Matériaux Organiques Poreux et ? (LMOP2) at the MIL campus.
At LMOP, he and his team strive to become molecular architects. His research is guided by curiosity and creativity. He explores how molecular-level changes propagate into emergent material properties and how new materials and properties can be discovered in parallel with high-throughput experimentation.
Central to his vision is the training of researchers who are confident, versatile, and collaborative, scientists who view research not as a fixed set of instructions, but as an evolving process of asking better questions and developing meaningful solutions.
